PM Modi to flag off Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat trains on September 15
On September 15, the Prime Minister will launch four new trains including one Vande Bharat Express and two Amrit Bharat trains.
Bihar to get new Vande Bharat train on September 15
Bihar’s new Vande Bharat Express train will run between Jogbani and Danapur. The train will be flagged off from Forbesganj railway station at 15:30 hrs. The train will cover a distance of 453 km in 08:10 hrs. The train will run at an average speed of 55.47 kmph.
Bihar to get two new Amrit Bharat trains
Bihar’s new Amrit Bharat Express trains will run between: Jogbani to Erode and Saharsa to Chheharta (Amritsar).
- The Jogbani to Erode Amrit Bharat Express will run once a week. It will cover a distance of 3129 km in 63.50 hrs. The train will run at an average speed of 49.01 kmph.
- On the other hand, the Saharsa to Chheharta Amrit Bharat Express will run via Supaul, Saraigarh, Jhanjharpur, Sitamarhi, Raxaul, Narkatiyaganj, Gorakhpur, Moradabad, and Ambala Cantt. Train no. 05531 Saharsa-Chheharta Amrit Bharat Inauguration Special will leave Saharsa at 15.30 hrs, reach Supaul at 16.00 hrs, Saraigarh at 16.40 hrs, Nirmali at 17.15 hrs, Jhanjharpur at 18.05 hrs, Sakri at 18.35 hrs, Siho at 19.25 hrs, Sitamarhi at 20.45 hrs, Raxaul at 22.25 hrs, Narkatiaganj at 23.35 hrs and other stations and reach Chheharta on Wednesday, 17.09.25 at 02.00 hrs.
Katihar-Siliguri-Katihar Express
The Katihar-Siliguri-Katihar Express train will run on all days of the week. On Sept 15, the train will be flagged off from Ararriya Court railway station. The train will cover a distance of 164 km in 04:15 hrs. It will run at an average speed of 38.58 kmph.
