'Bison' director opens up about his creative struggles
Mari Selvaraj further added, “Don’t question why I choose films on social issues; it affects me deeply. I am determined to make films that challenge caste. While 300 films are being made purely for entertainment, just leave me alone. Some people called me a ‘psycho’ after seeing my hard work. But after the hard work paid off, the same people praised me.
Among the senior actors, Pasupathi, Lal, and Aamir understood my efforts and gave me complete freedom.
Pasupathi sir acted with dedication even when he had a fever. We finally chose Rajisha Vijayan, and Anupama agreed without hesitation even when the story changed," he said.

The Kabaddi players from Tirunelveli worked hard and showed Dhruv Vikram the true taste of hard work. Editor Sakthi and music composer Nivas K. Prasanna understood my vision and worked hard. It was my privilege to reunite with

's brother after 'Pariyerum Perumal'. He thanked Yugabharathi's brother for inspiring all the songs I write," he said.
