Both Houses adjourned sine die

The Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council were adjourned sine die on Friday evening after a 10-day session here.

Submitting a report on the session, Speaker U.T. Khader said the Assembly had met for 57 hours and 35 minutes over 10 days since December 8. During the session, the Assembly discussed and adopted 23 Bills.

As many as 39 members of the House, he said, had discussed the issues concerning North Karnataka for over 17 hours. The government gave answers to 134 starred and 1,750 unstarred questions, the Speaker added.
