Chhattisgarh’s Neha Badwaik selected for Central Zone team in senior women’s inter-zonal T20 trophy

RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh’s talented cricketer Neha Badwaik has been selected to represent the Central Zone in the upcoming Senior Women’s Inter-Zonal T20 Trophy 2025, organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The tournament will be held in Nagaland from November 4, 2025, featuring teams from six zones — Central, East, North, South, North East, and West. In addition to Neha’s selection as a player, two members from the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Sangh (CSCS) have been appointed to the Central Zone support staff — Shweta Mishra as assistant coach and Lekhika Yadav as team manager.Their inclusion in the Central Zone setup highlights the growing contribution of Chhattisgarh cricket to the national circuit, both in player performance and professional expertise, said CSCS spokesperson. The Central Zone team will open its campaign against East Zone on November 4, followed by matches against South Zone on Nov 6, North East Zone on Nov 8, North Zone on Nov 10, and West Zone on Nov 12.
