In a viral courtroom video, a Jharkhand High Court judge can be seen lashing out at an IAS officer during a hearing. The judge reprimanded the bureaucrat and highlighted several irregularities. He also warned to initiate an inquiry and file an FIR. However, the name of the IAS officer and where he is posted is not certain.

This matter came up during a hearing before a bench of Jharkhand High Court, where a petition related to land acquisition and compensation was being heard. During the hearing, the court found that the concerned IAS officer had objected to the compensation amount fixed by the state government. The judge asked the IAS officer, “Who are you to object to the compensation fixed by the state? You want commission, how much commission have you taken so far?"

During the hearing, the judge said in a stern tone, “When the state government has decided the compensation amount, why are you questioning it? Do you have any personal interest? This is public money and it cannot be misused like this."

Furthermore, the judge called the IAS officer a “monkey" and said “when something is fixed by the state then don’t come hopping to take your share like a monkey."

The blasting video is going viral on social media and netizens are praising the judge for standing against corruption.

“If all the country’s institutes remain as strong as Judge Sahib, then the country will improve in 24 hours. The public should know this fact. In front of the Constitution, no politician, IAS officer, or collector has any worth. Salute to Judge Sahib," a user commented.

“If all Judges take a right approach and ask these all IAS officers, EC and ED to apply law as per Constitution, 50% cases will go away from court," another comment reads.
