Congress leaders predict a rise for the party in A.P. again

The Congress party leaders and workers on Thursday celebrated Rahul Gandhi’s 54th birthday by cutting a cake at Rajiv Gandhi circle in the city.

The leaders-led by APCC vice-president Doddareddy Rambhupal Reddy and Tirupati city Congress President Goudaperu Chittibabu predicted that the party will see a rise in the days to come and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi would become the Prime Minister in the near future.

Mr. Reddy said that the party would be once again in the reckoning in view of the public uprise against the current ‘fascist regime’. He appealed to the youth, students, academicians and intellectuals to stand by the party to ensure stable, peaceful and balanced development of the country.

Mr. Chittibabu said that Rahul Gandhi’s leadership is an essential prerequisite to ensure harmony among communities, equitable distribution of wealth and balanced development of States. “The fruits of development will reach the poor and the oppressed sections only under the Congress rule”, he added.
