TDP MP from Vizianagaram Kalisetti Appala Naidu on Saturday (January 17) walked all the way from Varahinarasipuram village in Ranasthalam mandal to Mettavalasa High School in Laveru mandal of Srikakulam district to meet his classmates gathered on the school premises for a reunion.

Mr. Appala Naidu, who used to walk to school crossing streams, mango orchards, cashew plantations, coconut groves and hillocks, chose the same route 30 years later. Notably, many of his classmates, who used to take the same route during their schooldays, decided to join him on the trip.

The MP met and shared memories with his classmates and teachers as they revisted the classrooms where they studied between 1983 and 1988. He said walking 10-15 km to reach school was a common thing for him and friends back in the day.

He promised his full support to renovate the school, which would celebrate golden jubilee year very soon. The MP also interacted with students, telling them that will power and focus would help them overcome challenges and reach their goals in life.
