'Dashavataram' Malayalam: Dilip Prabhavalkar's film set for Kerala release; Watch trailer here

The trailer of the Malayalam version of 'Dashavataram' aka 'Dashavatar' has officially been released.The film, which emerged as a massive blockbuster in Marathi, is now gearing up for its theatrical release in Kerala on December 12, 2025.

For the first time in history, a Marathi film is arriving in Kerala with a full-fledged Malayalam version released exclusively in theatres.

Trailer promises a massive big-screen experience

The trailer gives clear indications that the film is gearing up to deliver an intense cinematic feast.From breathtaking visuals to powerful performances, 'Dashavataram' appears to be mounted on a grand scale, hinting at a technical finesse rarely seen in Indian period spectacles.Directed and written by Subodh Khanolkhar, the film is produced under the banners of Ocean Film Company and Ocean Art House Production by Sujay Hande, Omkar Kate, Subodh Khanolkhar, Ashok Hande, Aditya Joshi, Nitin Sahasrabuddhe, Mrunal Sahasrabuddhe, Sanjay Dubey, and Vinayak Joshi. The Malayalam release is being presented by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Bhavesh Janavlekar, and Varun Gupta under the Max Marketing banner.

Malayalam viewers are likely to welcome this big-screen event wholeheartedly and if everything goes well, 'Dashavatar' may get a 'Kantara' - like welcome in 'God's own country'.
