Decapitated Body Found on Railway Tracks in Jamshedpur: Police Investigate

Jamshedpur: A decapitated body of a man partly unclothed was recovered from the railway tracks under Adityapur police station limits in adjoining Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Friday.The body was recovered between Adityapur and Gamharia railway station.The police made the recovery on receiving an alert from the locals, who first spotted it early in the morning.Adityapur police station officer in-charge, Vinod Tirkey said that the identity of the body is being established.“The investigation team is questioning the villagers in the vicinity where crime has occurred to gather information about the identity of the deceased. It is under probe whether the person was murdered or died by suicide," he said.
