Did Bihar’s Muslim votes go to NDA? What the data tells us

An analysis of 32 constituencies where the Muslim population is more than 30% shows us that the results aren't all that surprising. What has changed though is the assembly's composition, with the number of Muslims MLAs at an all-time low

What marks this election is the determined consolidation of votes against the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)-led Mahagathbandhan (MGB).
Muslims, who at 17.7% make up one of the two biggest voting groups (the other is Yadavs at 14.3%) in the state, have traditionally voted for the RJD.
