But fans were quick to notice one glaring omission of Gabriel, Emily’s charming neighbour and ex-boyfriend, played by Lucas Bravo. Lucas Bravo keeps fans guessing
While promoting his new project, Lucas Bravo addressed the chatter in an interview with E! News. When asked about not appearing in the teaser, he offered a deliberately cryptic answer. “I can’t tell, you know what, I would love to tell you something, but I like how they decided,” he teased. “I like the fact that I’m not in the trailer and that it creates a conversation. I’m going to keep the conversations running. I won’t say anything.
”Bravo’s playful response only added fuel to the speculation. Viewers have followed Gabriel’s romantic rollercoaster with Emily since the very beginning, from the undeniable spark in Season 1 to the complicated love triangle involving Alfie and Mathieu. With the addition of the Italian charmer Marcello Muratori in Season 4, many are wondering whether Gabriel’s absence hints at a dramatic shift in Emily’s romantic journey.

According to series creator Darren Star, this season will take Emily beyond Paris, with the story unfolding between the French capital and the heart of Italy. “This season is a tale of two cities: Rome and Paris,” he revealed in an interview with Tudum. “Emily’s going to have a presence in Rome. It doesn’t mean she’s not going to be in Paris.”The new episodes will see Emily embracing a fresh start in Rome, with glimpses of her exploring Venice as well. Familiar faces like Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Samuel Arnold and Lucien Laviscount will all return, along with a few exciting newcomers, including Eugenio Franceschini, who plays Marcello.The fifth season of Emily in Paris is set to premiere on December 18, promising a mix of love, laughter and a touch of mystery, especially around the ever-enigmatic Gabriel.
