Revealing how they met, Hussein told Vogue Arabia in May 2023, "I met Rajwa through an old friend from school... I consider myself lucky because it is not every day you meet someone like Rajwa."But, according to PEOPLE, it is not clear which school Hussein was referring to. He studied at King’s Academy in Jordan during his school years, later attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and also trained at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 2017.

Also, notably, both Hussein and Rajwa studied in the United States. Hussein graduated from Georgetown University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in international history, while Rajwa earned her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Syracuse University in 2017.The royal engagement: Rajwa and Hussein's make it official in 2022In August 2022, Rajwa and Hussein's made their relationship official by getting engaged at Rajwa's parents Khalid Al Saif and Azza al-Sudairi's home in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Grateful to my dear Jordanian family for their heartfelt support and kind wishes."Meanwhile, his mother Queen Rania had shared on Instagram, "I didn’t think it was possible to hold so much joy in my heart! Congratulations to my eldest Prince Hussein and his beautiful bride-to-be, Rajwa." She further wrote in Arabic, "I prayed to Allah - like me, like every mother - to grant you good and to find the one you love, Rajwa came.

Congratulations to my son, Prince Al-Hussein, and our precious and sweet bride Rajwa - May Allah bless you and make you happy and complete well.

"Soon after being formally engaged, Rajwa and Hussein began making their public appearances together. The wedding drew royals from across the world, including Prince William and Princess Kate. Following her marriage, Rajwa officially became HRH Crown Princess of Jordan. The news was shared officially by Royal Hashemite Court on X in a post that read, "A Royal Decree was issued to bestow the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein on Miss Rajwa Khalid Alseif, on the occasion of her marriage to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein Jordan."From newly-married to new-parentsA year after their royal wedding, Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa were blessed by their first child together: Princess Iman who was born in 2024.
