Jake Paul suffered the first knockout loss of his career, as former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua delivered a reality check to the Youtuber-turned-boxer at the Kaseya Center on Friday night.

Paul was left with a double broken jaw following his bout against Joshua, and took to the social media platform Instagram to share a picture of his X-Ray with a caption that read, “Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days."

Joshua knocked Paul down four times, decisively ending the fight and giving the 27-year-old only the second loss of his professional career. Paul entered the bout with momentum, having secured a decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June and achieving six consecutive victories since his 2023 loss to Tommy Fury.

This match was arranged after Paul’s planned November exhibition against Gervonta “Tank" Davis fell through due to legal issues involving Davis. Consequently, Paul faced a formidable heavyweight opponent in Joshua and suffered the consequences.

For Joshua, this victory was a significant comeback. After losing his titles to Oleksandr Usyk in 2021 and being defeated by Daniel Dubois last year, Joshua showcased his power with a classic, decisive finish.
