What Is ‘Gurram Paapi Reddy’ about?
The story depicts the life of Gurram Paapi, performed by Naresh Agastya, a character whose life drastically changes after his investment in a chit fund goes wrong leading him to the path of bankruptcy and heavy debt. Gurram Paapi meets Soudamini, played by Faria Abdullah, an aspiring medical student who lost all of her savings.
A plan that spirals into chaos
United by betrayal and financial loss, the duo teams up with a few like-minded friends, forming an unlikely gang. Their fortunes seem to change when they agree to transport a dead body in exchange for a hefty sum of money. However, what appears to be a straightforward plan soon descends into chaos, triggering a chain of comical and unpredictable events. The narrative keeps track of whether the group can outsmart their circumstances and escape the mess they land in.

‘Gurram Paapi Reddy’ will begin streaming on the popular OTT platform ZEE5. The film is set to premiere digitally on January 16, 2026. Announcing the update on social media, the Zee5 official handle stated, “If you are not yet, GET READY for GURRAM PAAPI REDDY! Premieres 16th January.”
