The tickets for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup 2026 set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka will be made available for fans on Thursday from 6.30 PM IST, the ICC announced. The cricket body also announced that fans can book tickets for select matches for some venues for as low as Rs 100 ‘to widen accessibility.’
“The ICC has reduced one of the primary entry barriers for fans to experience the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup by making the tickets highly affordable in Phase I. With pricing starting from ₹100 in India and LKR1000 in Sri Lanka and more than 2 million tickets going on sale, the ICC aspires to democratize the in-stadia experience of ICC events,” the ICC announced via press release.
In order to book the Phase I tickets, fans have to go to https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com. The matches which will have Rs 100 tickets are Bangladesh vs Italy in Eden Gardens (Feb 9), South Africa vs Canada in Narendra Modi Stadium (Feb 9), South Africa vs Afghanistan at Narendra Modi Stadium (Feb 11), New Zealand vs South Africa at Narendra Modi Stadium (Feb 14), England vs Italy at Eden Gardens (Feb 16) and West Indies vs Italy at Eden Gardens (Feb 19). There are also matches which have tickets which start from 150, 200 and 300 as well.
The World Cup will start on 7 February and go on till March 8 with 55 matches taking place in 8 venues across seven cities in India and Sri Lanka. In all 20 teams will participate in the event with Italy making their first appearance in the T20 World Cup with teams divided into four groups of five teams.

R Premadasa and Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo will host the matches alongside the one in Pallekele in Sri Lanka.
Defending champions India are in Group A alongside Pakistan, Namibia, The Netherlands and the USA. India will play the opener against the USA on February 7 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. They will move to the national capital to face Namibia on February 12 before heading to Colombo to take on Pakistan on February 15. Suryakumar Yadav & Co will then head to Ahmedabad to play their last league game against The Netherlands on February 18.
Group B comprises Australia, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Oman. England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal and Italy make Group C. The Group D consists of New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
