This came amid reports that Trump may be planning to strike Iran again to end the ongoing stalemate, as Tehran has refused to submit to US "impositions".

Iran issued a sharp warning to the United States on Friday, warning of a strong retaliation against any further show of force and demanding reparations for the recent military strikes, as tensions persist despite a tenuous ceasefire in the West Asia region.
This came after Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian also warned that Tehran can again be attacked by the US during negotiations, as uncertainty looms large over a possible second round of talks between both sides after initial discussions failed to yield an agreement.
Seyyed Mehdi Tabatabaei, deputy for communications in the Iranian president’s office, accused the US of engaging in “low-value psychological games and electoral rhetoric" and urged US officials to “climb out of the pit that the child-killer has dug for them."
The “child-killer" jibe was directed at US President Donald Trump as a reference to a strike that struck an elementary school in Iran’s Minab county in the initial salvo of attacks, killing 165 girls.
“Instead of engaging in low-value psychological games and electoral rhetoric with the help of their fine lawyers, they should climb out of the pit that the child-killer has dug for them, pay reparations for the assault, and return to their own land," said Tabatabaei.

He further said Iran was a “proponent of peace and friendship in the world", but anyone who uses force against the country would be met with a “harsh slap".
Will US Attack Iran?
While the US and Iran halted direct attacks in April, the fragile ceasefire has been put under strain by aggressive rhetoric and military posturing. The US naval forces have imposed a blockade around Iranian ports to squeeze their economy, while Tehran moved to close the Strait of Hormuz, a vital chokepoint supplying nearly a fifth of the world’s oil supplies.
In Washington, the conflict has triggered a debate over the scope and duration of US military engagement. According to a report by Axios, Trump was briefed by the US military on new plans for strikes on Iran.

The meeting came at a time when the Jerusalem Post reported that the United States had sent 6,500 tonnes of munitions and military equipment to Israel within 24 hours, signalling that Trump might be planning a potential escalation to end the standoff.
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz warned that it was “possible that we may soon have to act again" against Iran to achieve the war’s objectives.
Meanwhile, Iran’s judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei on Friday said Tehran remained open to talks with the United States but would not accept what he called policy “imposition" under threats.
“We do not welcome war in any way; we do not want war, we do not want its continuation," he said, adding that Iran was “absolutely not willing to abandon our principles and values in the face of this malicious enemy in order to avoid war or prevent its continuation".
