Jasmin Bhasin has dropped a promotional video for the upcoming reality series The Traitors. Set to premiere today, June 12, the show dives into the themes of betrayal, strategy and mystery. It will see Jasmin alongside 19 other contestants. In the video, the television actress appears emotional as she talks about people accusing her of being a traitor. While tears in her eyes and raw honesty in her words might convince you at first go, you must wait for a while before coming to a conclusion.

In the promotional clip, Jasmin Bhasin is sitting in a chair, wearing a stunning co-ord set. Visibly hurt by the accusations, she expresses, “The Last few days have been very difficult for me. Everyone is accusing me of being a traitor. How can I be a traitor? I don’t even know how to strategise. That’s why in school, I used to do so badly in Maths. I have never learnt how to plan and plot. Even in the game of UNO, I give myself a draw 4. This Rubick’s Cube is my worst enemy. I wish I had at least solved this just once in my life. But no. My whole life, I’ve been removing the stickers and sticking them right at the back. I am good for nothing."

Convinced that she is not a traitor? Well, well, watch the full video for an unexpected twist. As the camera tilts down and Jasmin assumes she is not being recorded, the real truth emerges. The actress can be heard asking the team, “Was it looking believable? I hope it’s not too much. This Glycerin was vegan, right?"

The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, features a dynamic lineup of renowned faces from different walks of life. The contestants include Karan Kundrra, Jasmin Bhasin, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Uorfi Javed, Jannat Zubair, Elvish Yadav, Sumukhi Suresh, Mukesh Chhabra, Anshula Kapoor, Sahil Salathia, Harsh Gujral, Sufi Motiwala, Nikita Luther, Ashish Vidyarthi, Maheep Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija (also known as Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Sudhanshu Pandey and Elnaaz Norouzi.

Produced by BBC Studios India Productions, the reality series is set to premiere on Prime Video starting today, June 12. New episodes will air every Thursday at 8 PM.
