Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya continues to win hearts with its thoughtful blend of humour and slice-of-life storytelling from the middle-class family’s everyday life. And the upcoming episodes will be no different. In an emotionally charged storyline, the show’s latest episodes centre around the redevelopment of the Sai Darshan Society. The show will also mirror the real-life struggles faced by countless residents in the bustling city of Mumbai.

As property prices rise and their building is selected for redevelopment, joy turns to concern for the residents. Vandana (Pariva Pranati) begins the hunt for a temporary home, while Dakku (Deepak Pareek) performs a Satyanarayan pooja for safety. Meanwhile, the building will face a powerful tremor at night that shakes the entire building. After the horrifying tremor, the children Atharva, Krishna, and Kittu are found missing. After a thorough search, Rajesh (Sumeet Raghavan), Dharmesh (Khanjan Thumber), and Dakku found them safe.

The next morning, cracks appear in several homes, due to the tremor. As society members come together to select a builder for the redevelopment process, their hopes are dashed when he is arrested by the authorities for construction fraud. With plans falling apart and heavy rains pouring in, the residents are forced to make temporary fixes with each other’s support.

“This track means a lot to many people, especially in a city like Mumbai where redevelopment affects so many homes. It’s not just about buildings being torn down and rebuilt – it’s about people’s lives, memories, and emotions," actor Sumeet Raghvan, who plays the role of Rajesh Wagle, was quoted as saying by Etimes.

He further elaborated, saying, “I really liked how the episode didn’t just show the process but also the emotional stress it brings to families. It was heartwarming to see the mix of humour, the strong sense of community, and the real struggles of city life. The episode struck a nice balance between being entertaining and showing the serious side of what redevelopment really feels like."

Watch the interesting and emotional storyline of Wagle Ki Duniya every Monday to Saturday at 9:30 PM, only on Sony SAB.
