UDUPI: Kasturba Medical College (KMC) and the Department of Biotherapeutics Research (DBR), MAHE, are set to host the second edition of the Cell Therapy Conclave on Oct 30 and 31 at the Dr T.M.A.

Pai Auditorium, Manipal.Following the success of its first edition, the conclave returns this year with a renewed focus on the rapidly evolving world of cell and gene therapy. The event will bring together leading scientists, clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals from across the country to discuss breakthroughs, share research, and explore how regenerative medicine is transforming the way we treat disease.The two-day conclave will highlight recent advances in cellular therapeutics, gene editing, and biotherapeutic innovation, with an emphasis on bridging the gap between bench research and bedside application. The programme includes keynote talks, expert sessions, and discussions that encourage collaboration between academia, clinical practice, and biotechnology industries.Renowned experts from across India will share their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

Distinguished speakers include Dr Akhil Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, Aurigene Oncology, Bengaluru; Dr Vikram Mathews, Director, CMC, Vellore; Dr Maneesha Inamdar, Director, BRIC-inStem & Professor, JNCASR, Bengaluru; Dr Rahul Purwar, Founder & CEO, ImmunoACT; Dr Dinesh Kundu, CEO, EastOcyon Bio; and Dr Abheek Kar, Orthopaedician.
