Karnataka approved RCB event at Vidhana Soudha with strict rules, shows letter

The Karnataka government had cleared the arnataka State Cricket Association’s (KSCA) request to felicitate Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the eastern steps of the Vidhana Soudha on June 4, with strict conditions, including a Rs 15 lakh refundable security deposit if tents or structures were erected at the venue.

According to the government order accessed exclusively by India Today, the approval was granted by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR) to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), based on a request from the association and a clearance issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vidhana Soudha Security.
