Anirudhan, will be contesting as a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party from the Thycaud ward of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Mr. Kasthuri had signalled his shift from the ideology of his family members by joining the Hindu Aikya Vedi earlier this year.
