He unveiled a plaque to formally inaugurate the plant of TeknoDome, an LED television manufacturer, at the industrial hub and interacted with the staff members.
He took a stroll around the liquid crystal module (LCM) making unit, final assembling unit and quality control wing, where the company representatives led by Chairman and Managing Director Saket Gaurav and HR Manager Siva Shankar explained the various features and activities.
As part of its expansion plan, the New Delhi-based firm established its unit at Kopparthi Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) with an outlay of ₹121 crore and providing 300 jobs.
The plant is also expected to manufacture refrigerators, air-conditioners and other home appliances, for which an additional investment of ₹55 crore will be pumped in soon.

The Minister also inaugurated the executive centre building of Kopparthi industrial hub, constructed with ₹31.50 crore in a built-up area of 46,700 square yards on a 6.3 acre-site. The building will have co-working space, APIIC office, business centre, convention centre, besides tennis and badminton courts.
At the textile manufacturing unit of Texana World Private Limited, a subsidiary of Texport Industries, he interacted with the women workers and reiterated the NDA government’s commitment to ensuring gender equity. “We believe in rendering justice to every citizen, irrespective of the gender. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in a post on ‘X’, formerly twitter, congratulated Teknodome and Texana industrial units which launched their operations at Kopparthi industrial hub in Kadapa district.
“The YSRCP government laid utmost emphasis on the industry sector, and manufacturing sector in particular, as it firmly believed in those sectors’ importance in ensuring inclusive and sustainable development of the State,” he said. He recalled that the Mega Industrial Hub at Kopparthi was proposed in August 2019, the EMC secured approval from STPI in March 2021 and both of them were formally launched in December 2021, indirectly indicating that much progress was witnessed during his tenure (2019-2024).
