KSU wins Govt. Polytechnic College union election

The Kerala Students Union (KSU) claimed to have won all the seats in the college union election held at Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery, on Friday (October 17).

The KSU said in a communication that it wrested the union from the Students Federation of India (SFI) after a gap of 30 years. KSU candidates won six out of the seven seats in the election held at the Government Polytechnic College, Kothamangalam.

The KSU also won the Polytechnic University Council seat at the Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Kalamassery. K.M. Krishnalal, Ernakulam district president of the KSU, said the victory was a reply to the alleged authoritarian policies of the SFI.
