Sometimes, more than the murder, the intention behind the murder is more shocking. In a similar case of murder in West Bengal’s Dinhati, the revelation of the intentions for the murder turned out to be more alarming for the local police. Police linked the murder case to cannibalism after the arrest of the accused, triggering panic and disbelief among residents.

Police said an unidentified man, who lived in a cremation ground, was brutally attacked and killed. The crime came to light after locals alerted authorities about suspicious activity in the area.

Later, the police rope in their sources and identified a man, Ferdous Alam who was arrested in connection with the murder. Police officials said the accused was under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the incident.
