Premier League giants Manchester United are seriously considering the seasoned Luis Enrique as the most viable option to hand the keys to the kingdom!

Reports suggest that the joint-most successful side in the history of English football seek to rope in the UCL-winning Spanish head coach from Ligue 1 heavyweights PSG.

Enrique, who led PSG to their elusive UCL crown last year, seems happy with life in Paris, but if the veteran manages to defend the continental title, talk is that he might look for a different challenge, and that’s where United hope to come in.

Enrique, who led Barca to the UCL title in the year 2015, emulated his feat with the French Capital City side in the 2025 and has embodied the revolution in Paris that has yielded dividends.

United have defied expectation this season by romping their path all the up to third in the league, only behind leaders Arsenal and rivals Manchester City, following the appointment of club legend Michael Carrick as the interim boss after Portuguese gaffer Ruben Amorim’s exit from the club.

Carrick has breathed new life into the squad winning seven of the nine games he has helmed the club across competitions ,and became the first United manager in PL lore to win his first six home league games, highlighted by triumphs against Arsenal, City, and Tottenham.

While there are loud calls to hand the midfield maestro a full-time contract at the club, certain pockets suggest that the club might be looking towards the former Barcelona and Spain boss Enrique to take the club forward.

United have amassed 54 points from 30 outings in the campaign with 15 wins, 9 defeats and 6 draws, and are ahead of fourth-placed Aston Villa, who they got the better of over the weekend in a 3-1 victory at home, who have 51 from as many games as the Red Devils.
