Maris Stella College, in association with the Don Bosco Placements Network, organised a mega job mela on its campus on Friday. The campus wore a vibrant look, marked by a mix of hope, excitement, anxiety and focused energy, as young job seekers interacted earnestly with recruiters, while some celebrated the shortlisting of their names.

Addressing the students, the Principal, Sr. Innyasamma, said the college was committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with the skills and exposure needed to gain an edge in the job market. Recruiters from diverse sectors, including pharma, agriculture, banking and finance, aviation, manufacturing, medical services and sales, participated in the event.
A total of 600 online and 400 offline registrations were recorded, and candidates were shortlisted based on merit, communication skills and overall presentation. Placement Officer Anupama said interviews were conducted to match students with suitable opportunities.
The recruitment drive was attended by the Correspondent, Sr. Leena Quadras, the Rector and Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Pezzonipet, Fr. Balaraju, the Vice-Rector and Administrator, Fr. Showry, the Director of Don Bosco Disha, Telangana, Fr. Justin, and the Director of Disha, Andhra Pradesh, Fr. Jeevan. Faculty members, including Mr. Milton, were also present.
