May Day: Pourakarmikas felicitated

As part of Labour Day celebrations on Friday, a programme was organised at Chamundipuram here by Apoorva Snehabalaga and Ranga Rao and Sons to honour pourakarmikas.

In view of the intense summer heat this year, the organisers distributed caps, along with tea, buns and bananas, to the civic workers as a gesture of appreciation. The workers were extended Labour Day greetings in recognition of their service.
