Mysuru court premises evacuated over ‘bomb threat’

The premises of the Mysore Law Courts were evacuated on Tuesday (January 6, 2026) morning following an alleged bomb threat.

A police team along with bomb disposal squad rushed to the spot and cordoned off the premises to conduct a thorough search. As a precautionary measure, advocates, their clients and members of the general public present inside the court complex were asked to vacate immediately.

Onlookers gathered in large numbers outside the court building as advocates waited while the police carried out verification and security checks inside the premises.

The Malalawadi court premises were also evacuated as a safety measure in view of the alleged threat.
