Veteran actor Nana Patekar reportedly walked out of the 'O Romeo' trailer launch in Andheri, Mumbai, due to significant delays. Arriving punctually for the 12 pm trailer unveiling, he faced a nearly hour-long wait as the poster launch, initially scheduled for 11 am, stretched until 1 pm.

The trailer and poster of the Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri starrer ‘O Romeo’ was recently launched at a mall in Andheri, Mumbai, on January 21. However, veteran actor Nana Patekar, known for his intense temperament and who plays a key role in the movie, left the launch out of frustration, before the event started.

Why did Nana Patekar leave the O Romeo trialer launch in frustration?

What happened at the launch event was that the poster launch was set to take place at 11 am at the mall and the trailer launch at 12 pm inside a theatre in the mall. Legendary actor Nana Patekar arrived on time for the trailer launch at 12 pm. He was waiting inside the theatre. The problem started because the poster launch got delayed. Other actors, including Shahid Kapoor and others arrived late. The poster event went on till 1 pm.

Nana Patekar had to sit and wait for almost one hour. He got frustrated and left the venue without attending the full event.Nana Patekar is known for having a serious temperament. It seems he was upset because events did not happen as planned.

About the trailer ‘O Romeo’

Speaking about the film, the trailer of ‘O Romeo’ was finally unveiled. The trailer shows Shahid Kapoor as a gangster. He is someone who is deeply obsessed with Triptii Dimri’s character.

The story looks dark and emotional. It shows love, anger, power, and fear. The film is set in the dangerous streets of Mumbai. Meanwhile, Avinash Tiwary will be seen in a villainous role.

‘O Romeo’ has a big cast. It includes Nana Patekar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, and Disha Patani. Additionally, Vikrant Massey appears in a special role.The film is set to release in theatres on 13 February 2026. It will arrive during Valentine’s Week.
