NCB Southern Region gets new Deputy Director-General

R. Sudhakar, a 2003-batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre, has been given full additional charge to hold the post of Deputy Director-General of Narcotics Control Bureau, Southern Region. 

Mr. Sudhakar is presently the central anti-drug agency’s DDG, North East Region, stationed at Guwahati. In Tamil Nadu, he served in different capacities, including Additional Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Chennai, and Inspector-General of Police, West Zone, Coimbatore. 

In the new assignment in NCB, he will have jurisdiction over the States of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
