US President Donald Trump said negotiations with Iran are progressing positively and claimed a future agreement could become a historic opportunity to reshape the Middle East, while also urging multiple Muslim-majority countries to join the Abraham Accords.

In a lengthy post on Truth Social, Trump said talks with Tehran were “proceeding nicely" but warned there would either be “a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all", suggesting failure could lead to renewed and intensified conflict.

“Back to the battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before — and nobody wants that," Trump wrote.

The US president said he had discussed the issue with several regional leaders, including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Trump said he told the leaders that countries involved in discussions around a future Iran settlement should, at minimum, sign onto the Abraham Accords — the US-brokered agreements aimed at normalising ties between Israel and several Arab states.

According to Trump, Saudi Arabia and Qatar should immediately join the accords, while countries such as Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt and Jordan should also consider signing.

He argued that membership in the Abraham Accords had brought economic and strategic benefits to existing participants and claimed expanding the framework could create an unprecedented regional coalition.

Trump went further by suggesting that Iran itself could eventually become part of the Abraham Accords if a deal is reached with Washington.

“It would be an honor to have them also be part of this unparalleled world coalition," he wrote, calling the prospect “something special."

The comments come amid fragile indirect negotiations between the US and Iran, with major disagreements persisting over Tehran’s nuclear programme and stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

Trump has repeatedly insisted that Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, while Iranian officials have accused Washington of using pauses in conflict to prepare for possible future military action.

His latest remarks indicate the White House is attempting to link a potential US-Iran agreement with broader regional normalisation efforts, potentially reshaping alliances across West Asia.
