New Mahindra XUV 7XO: Variant-wise features with price explained

Mahindra and Mahindra has just launched the new Mahindra XUV 7XO SUV in the Indian market, priced from Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new XUV 7XO is essentially the facelifted XUV 700 and the brand’s next combustion-engine model to adopt the updated naming convention, following the XUV 3XO, which transformed the XUV 300 through a significant redesign.

The new Mahindra XUV 7XO is offered in six variants - AX, AX3, AX5, AX7, AX7T (Tech) and AX7L (Luxury) with prices starting from Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). Test drive will begin on January 8. Customers can book the car starting from January 14, and buyers who had pre-registered for the AX7, AX7T, and AX7L variants will be the first to receive their vehicles from that date. Meanwhile, deliveries for customers opting for the AX, AX3, and AX5 trims are slated to commence in April 2026.

In this article, let’s take a look at variant-wise features of the new Mahindra XUV 7XO. Mahindra XUV 7XOAX is priced between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 14.96 lakh (ex-showroom). The AX is the entry level variant of the XUV 7XO and gets features such as Bi-LED projector headlights with DRLs, clear-lens LED tail-lights, piano-black exterior cladding, flush door handles, 17-inch steel wheels with covers, a sharkfin antenna, roof rails, a rear spoiler, electrically adjustable ORVMs, Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom drive modes (diesel only), automatic engine stop-start, a 12.3-inch triple-screen setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, AdrenoX connected-car suite with built-in Alexa and ChatGPT.

Smartwatch connectivity, cruise control, a 6-speaker audio system, 65W Type-C and 15W Type-A front charging ports, a 15W Type-A rear charging port, a 12V outlet for the third row, a 6-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, power windows with one-touch down for the driver, manual AC with second- and third-row vents, push-button start, front and rear armrests (the latter with cup holders), steering-mounted controls, height-adjustable front seatbelts, a manually dimming IRVM, six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control system, hill-hold assist, hill-descent control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX anchors and a ‘Follow Me’ headlamp function.Mahindra XUV 7XOAX3 is priced between Rs 16.02 lakh-17.94 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra XUV 7XOAX7 is priced between Rs 18.48 lakh-20.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Next the AX7 features 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a boot lamp, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, remote window closing with cooling (AT only), auto-tilting ORVMs with memory, the AdrenoX+ Connect suite with OTT and quick-delivery apps, leatherette upholstery, a 6-way powered driver’s seat with Memory and Welcome functions, a manual ‘Boss’ mode for the co-driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control with Max Defrost and Quiet modes, an air purifier with AQI display, a tablet holder with a 65W Type-C port, a digital video recorder, surround-view cameras, blind-spot monitoring and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 T priced between Rs 20.99 lakh-23.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The AX7 T (Tech) variant features passive keyless entry, sequential turn indicators, front LED fog lamps with cornering lights, ventilated front seats, a front wireless charging pad, an electronic parking brake, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, a frameless auto-dimming IRVM, adaptive cruise control, driver-drowsiness detection and Level 2 ADAS.

Mahindra XUV 7XO AX7 L is priced between Rs 22.47 lakh-24.92 lakh (ex-showroom). Last but not least, the top spec AX7 L (Luxury) trim gets 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, multi-zone ambient lighting, leatherette-finished door trims, ventilated second-row seats, rear sunblinds, a 6-way electrically adjustable co-driver’s seat with powered ‘Boss’ mode, a rear wireless charging pad and Dolby Vision support.
