Now, Karnataka Cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills on July 17

The Congress government has now proposed to hold the State Cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills in Chickballapur district on July 17.

Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister H.K. Patil told reporters that the venue of Thursday’s Cabinet meeting was shifted from Nandi Hills to the Vidhana Soudha owing to the delay in the preparation of proposals to be announced by various departments for the Chickballapur and Kolar region. The Cabinet meeting would be held at Nandi Hills on July 17, he said.

MLAs and Ministers of the region had met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and told him to hold the Cabinet meeting at Nandi Hills only if the government was ready with a financial package for the region, he said.
