A disturbing incident at the Collector’s office in Telangana’s Jagtial has drawn widespread outrage after video footage emerged showing a disabled man being forcibly removed by staff during a public grievance session.

The specially-abled man, identified as Raja Gangaram from Muthyampet village in Mallapur mandal, had been pleading for a road to his home for the past eight years.

He had previously submitted his complaint to Collector Satyaprasad, who had promised action.

With no progress made, Gangaram came to the office and waited near the grievance area.

In the video, Gangaram can be seen sitting in a wheelchair in a crowded office space as staff members approach him. Two men attempt to pull his chair away, while others push from behind.

The force causes the chair to jerk and tip slightly, nearly unseating him.

Throughout the episode, the Collector walks past without stopping, as bystanders record the scene on their phones. The man appears visibly distressed, clutching onto his wheelchair armrest as he is dragged out of the area.

Officials later claimed the staff acted after repeated requests for him to move were ignored.

Responding to the incident, Telangana Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar ordered an immediate resolution to Gangaram’s problem, directing officials to ensure a road is built to his residence without delay.

In another incident, a video of a man assaulting his father emerged in Maharashtra’s Nagpur. The assault took place in front of the victim’s wife over a “family matter".

Though no complaint was lodged by the victim, police traced the man, a resident of Shanti Nagar.
