Payal Ghosh adopts strays, says, 'Looking at the way they are treated on the road, I couldn’t help my emotions'

Actress Payal Ghosh has chosen to celebrate her upcoming birthday which is on November 13 by adopting 30 stray dogs and cats from her neighborhood. “Looking at the way they are treated on the road, I couldn’t help my emotions.

I finally thought they need shelter and compassion,” Payal shared. “These innocent souls go through so much pain, and I just couldn’t ignore it anymore.

” Known for her deep love for animals, Payal has been feeding and caring for strays around her area. This year, she decided to go a step further. She says, “People have been asking how I’ll manage so many animals, and honestly, it’s not about space, it’s about heart. I may not have acres of land, but I have enough warmth and willingness to make them feel safe.

I live on my own, and I want my home to be filled with love, fur, and tiny paws — that’s heaven for me.

” Even when she’s away for shoots, Payal ensures the animals are well cared for through a dedicated system and regular video calls to check on them. “Their well-being is always on my mind. I treat them like family,” she says. Calling it more than just a birthday gesture, Payal adds, “This is a lifelong promise. I want to keep rescuing and maybe one day, create a proper shelter. Until then, my home is their home, and my heart belongs to them.”
