Guntur Collector A. Thameem Ansariya has called upon the district administration to adopt a people-centric approach in governance.

Addressing the officials after taking charge as the Collector on Saturday, Ms. Ansariya underlined the importance of teamwork, stating that nothing is impossible when the officials work collectively.

She asked the officials to remain accessible to people and prioritse the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS). She instructed officials to resolve the petitions promptly and inform the applicants clearly when matters fall beyond their jurisdiction.

The Collector cautioned against repeated re-openings of grievances, stressing the need for field-level inspections and inquiries to ensure resolution of the pleas.

She stressed the need to effectively implement the ‘Vision Andhra’ action plan across sectors and work towards achieving the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

She emphasised the importance of gathering citizen feedback on welfare schemes through multiple channels to improve service delivery.

Ms. Ansariya urged the officials to provide quality services.

The meeting was attended by Joint Collector Ashutosh Srivastav, Tenali Sub-Collector Sanjana Sinha, DRO N.S.K. Khajavali, RDO Srinivasa Rao, and other officials.
