PM Modi will also attend celebrations marking the 70th birth anniversary of Bhutan's King Jigme Singye Wangchuck and hold discussions with his counterpart Tshering Tobgay.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a state visit to Bhutan from November 11 to 12, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, according to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday.

During the visit, PM Modi will meet Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and the two leaders will inaugurate the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II Hydroelectric Project, developed jointly by the two countries. He will also attend the celebrations of the King’s 70th anniversary.
