Prabhas is very happy with Baahubali-The Eternal War, confirms director Ishan Shukla

Director Ishan Shukla has revealed that Prabhas is absolutely excited about 'Baahubali – The Eternal War'. Despite juggling a hectic schedule that necessitates remote dubbing sessions, Shukla confirmed that Prabhas is pleased with how the project is shaping up. This uplifting news reflects the team's determination to pay tribute to the legendary character's storied legacy.

Filmmaker Ishan Shukla, who is directing the much-anticipated animated feature Baahubali – The Eternal War, has revealed that Prabhas is extremely pleased with the project. In an exclusive conversation with Etimes, Shukla opened up about the process of working with the superstar, the challenges of coordinating dubbing sessions, and why the team feels confident about the film’s progress.The film is pegged to be mounted at a budget of Rs 120 crore.

Shukla recalled the excitement surrounding the dubbing of the teaser, where both Prabhas and Ramya Krishnan lent their voices. “Yeah, Prabhas dubbed for it. Ramya Krishnan dubbed for it. It was very exciting,” he said. However, despite being closely involved with the project, the director shared that he did not get the chance to meet Prabhas in person during this phase. “No, I didn’t meet. I couldn’t meet them. It was done remotely,” he explained.

While he managed to interact with Ramya Krishnan, Prabhas’s extremely tight schedule made a physical meeting impossible.

“Prabhas was traveling quite a bit. So we had to do it remotely.”Prabhas is probably one of the busiest actors in the industry and getting his time is extremely difficult. “We will get it now, because the whole movie has to be done,” Shukla added, expressing optimism about future dubbing sessions and collaboration.

What stood out most in the conversation, however, was Shukla’s reassurance that Prabhas is extremely pleased with the way Baahubali – The Eternal War is progressing. “I’m very happy that he is very happy because of course, it’s his character which we are depicting.We’re in a good place right now” the director shared with a smile. His words underline the importance of maintaining the spirit and authenticity of the iconic character that Prabhas made legendary.On its 10th anniversary, both Baahubali films directed by SS Rajamouli were re-cut into one 3 hours and 45 minutes saga called Baahubali- The Epic, it hit the theaters on 31st October and by the end of 18 days it has become the highest grossing re-released film in India.
