Prabhas wishes ‘Spirit’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on his 44th birthday; says, ‘Can't wait for everyone to witness what you're creating’

Prabhas is working with ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on their upcoming cop action drama, ‘Spirit’. Today, on the festive date of Christmas, the filmmaker is celebrating his 44th birthday and the Rebel Star recently wished him, sharing a picture from the film’s sets.Prabhas took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of Sandeep Reddy Vanga in a black outfit, presumably directing someone about making a gaze. With the picture he wrote, "Happy birthday bro... Can't wait for everyone to witness what you're creating." In ‘Spirit’, Prabhas is expected to play the role of an impactful and rogue police officer.

Director on Hollywood remakes

Speaking about the film, earlier, while speaking with Gallata Plus, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said long back he got an offer to make a film with Prabhas.

But that movie did not happen. He said he wanted to make an original story for Prabhas because that would be better for him. Sandeep shared that Prabhas once asked him if he wanted to remake a Hollywood film. But Sandeep refused. He told Prabhas, “It is not working for me, the Hollywood remake.

” He wanted a fresh idea. He wanted a story made only for Prabhas.

Cast of ‘Spirit’

Speaking about the film’s cast, Bollywood Deepika Padukone was locked as the female lead, but made her exit from the project due to disagreements over contractual demands.

Later, Triptii Dimri joined the movie as the leading lady. The movie also has actors Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi in important roles. The shooting work has already started.

Shooting changes in ‘Spirit’

Ealier according to a report by Mid-day shared some light on the shooting of the film. It reported that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has decided to call off the New Year break to speed up production. It was said that the makers were set to shoot till the end of December and a break after it, but now, as the ‘Kabir Singh’ director felt the movie should be around mid 2026, they are expected to complete major portions earlier than planned.
