Pune Woman Looted Inside Building's Lift

In a disturbing incident reported from Pune, a woman was looted inside a residential building in broad daylight. CCTV footage shows a masked man entering the building and looting a woman near the lift. As per the time mentioned on the CCTV footage, the incident occurred at around 10 am on August 3.

The video shows that the man first asked a question and as the woman was answering him, he grabbed her neck to snatch her chain.

The police are investigating the case and further details will be shared in due course of time. Check the video here.

Delhi Jewellery Store Loot 

In another loot case reported in Delhi on Sunday, four to five armed men allegedly looted cash and jewellery after holding the shop owner and customers hostage at a jewellery store in northeast Delhi’s Chand Bagh area on Sunday, according to an official.

The incident occurred at a jewellery shop in Gali No. 4 in Chand Bagh, under the jurisdiction of Dayalpur Police Station.

Police said they immediately dispatched a team to the spot upon receiving information about the robbery.

“The complainant, Sadiq (27), told police that while he was attending to a customer, a group of four to five persons entered his shop and pulled down the shutter from inside," a senior officer told PTI.

The accused, who were armed, held them at gunpoint and stole jewellery and cash from the shop as well as from the customers present before fleeing.

Senior police officers, including officials from the crime and forensic teams, inspected the crime scene and collected evidence.

The CCTV footage from the area is also being reviewed, said the officer, adding that a case has been registered under relevant sections at Dayalpur Police Station.

“Multiple teams have been deployed to identify and arrest the accused," he said.
