English teacher, Jaskaran Singh Bhullar, and his wife, Kanmaljit Kaur, tragically died in a road accident
BATHINDA: English teacher Jaskaran Singh Bhullar and his wife Kanmaljit Kaur died in a road accident on Sunday morning when Jaskaran Singh was going to drop his wife for election duty that the car fell in a drain near Sangatpura village in district Moga. Jaskaran Singh, hailing from Mansa was presently posted at government high school at Khote village in Moga and was associated with Association for English teaching (AETA Punjab). He was on the way to drop wife Kamajit Kaur for duty in Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti election at Marti Mustafa village that the car fell in drain near Sangatpura village and both died of drowning. As per police, the accident seems to have happened due to fog in the area. The teacher fraternity was stunned over the demise of a couple in road accident. Baghapurana Police Station SHO Inspector Jatinder Singh said that while both were teachers but only Kamaljit Kaur was on election duty, and both died after car fell in a drain.
