JAIPUR: A teacher at a govt primary school in Gangapur City was suspended Tuesday after being accused of cooking non-vegetarian food on school premises, following a video that went viral on social media. The video, shot on Monday, shows headmaster Amar Singh Meena allegedly getting non-vegetarian food cooked inside the school by the school cook. The incident took place on a day when winter vacations for students up to Class 8 had been extended due to the cold wave.In the video, a villager alleges the school gates were locked from inside while the cook prepared food for the headmaster. The locked gate raised suspicion among villagers, who then scaled the school's boundary walls to enter the campus and see what was happening. When confronted, Meena is seen responding on video, "Whatever you have seen, you can inform the district education officer and they can take action as suitable."After the video surfaced, district education officer, Devilal Meena, formed a three-member inquiry committee and initiated an investigation against the headmaster.
