Ranchi to host judges’ badminton tourney on January 3 and 4

Ranchi: The city is going to host the 2nd All India Judges’ Badminton Tournament under the aegis of the Jharkhand high court on January 3 and 4.The tournament is scheduled to take place at Khelgaon’s Thakur Vishwanath Shahdeo Indoor Stadium.

The first edition of the tournament was held on January 5 and 6 last year in Odisha.In the Ranchi tourney, over 30 high court judges from nine different courts across the country will participate to promote sportsmanship, camaraderie, health awareness and positive energy among the esteemed members of the judiciary.The competition will be held in four categories — men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles and mixed doubles.
