The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) has announced that Ratha Sapthami will be observed at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple on January 25, coinciding with Surya Jayanti.
The occasion is considered special as devotees will have the opportunity to witness the Goddess in procession on seven different celestial vahanams on the same day.
According to the schedule, the deity will offer darshan on Surya Prabha Vahanam (7 a.m. to 8 a.m.), Hamsa Vahanam (8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.), Aswa Vahanam (10 a.m. to 11 a.m.), Garuda Vahanam (11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.), Chinna Sesha Vahanam (1 p.m. to 2 p.m.), Chandra Prabha Vahanam (6 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and Gaja Vahanam (8.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.).
Meanwhile, Snapana Tirumanjanam, the ceremonial celestial bath, will be performed for the processional deity at Sri Krishna Mukha Mandapam inside the temple from 3.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.
In view of the day-long festivities, the TTD has cancelled Kalyanotsavam, Kumkumarchana, break darshan, Unjal Seva and Vedasirvachanam at the temple on January 25.
