It is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by Monday (October 27) morning and into a severe cyclonic storm by Tuesday (October 28) morning. Continuing to move north-northwestwards, it is very likely to cross Andhra Pradesh coast around Kakinada during the evening of October 28. Under the influence of the deep-depression, squally weather, with wind speed reaching 35-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph, is prevailing over the A.P. coast on Sunday (October 26). It is likely to increase to 65 kmph from October 27 and the gale speed may touch 80 kmph from October 28. The speed may then gust up to 110 kmph from October 28 evening to early hours of October 29. The winds would gradually decrease to 45-55 kmph by October 29 evening.

Thereafter, it would come back to the state of ‘very rough’ by October 29 night.
