Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday filed his nomination papers from his Raghopur Assembly constituency for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections 2025, which will be voted in the second phase on November 11.
Tejashwi, accompanied by former RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar CM Rabri Devi, left Patna for Raghopur earlier in the day.
He faces JD(U) candidate Chanchal Singh in the electoral contest.

The Yadav-dominated seat, where farming is the primary occupation, has largely remained with the RJD’s first family since party founder Lalu Prasad’s victory in 1995 — barring the 2010–2015 term, when the JD(U) held it.
Tejashwi Yadav has represented Raghopur for the last two terms.
