The 100th annual international conference of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama will be held from February 4 to 8, 2026, at Kuniya, Kasaragod, said Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama president Syed Muhammad Jifri Muthukoya Thangal at a press conference here on Saturday.
It has come to the notice that more than 24 lakh people in Kerala have been left out during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voters’ list. There should not be a situation where even one deserving person is left out of the list. This will weaken the democratic system of the country. The authorities should be ready to address the concerns of the people, said Mr. Thangal.
The Samastha Shatabdi Sandesh Yatra, led by Mr. Thangal, that began from Nagercoil on Friday were accorded reception in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts on Saturday. The main objectives of the yatra is to make people aware of the educational, social, and spiritual activities of Samastha, to provide an opportunity for the general public to understand Samastha more, and to invite everyone to its 100th anniversary celebrations.
The reception organised for the centenary journey at Putharikandam Maithanam in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday evening was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Shajahan Darimi, Samastha district president, presided over the function while K. Muraleedharan was the chief guest.
