Samsung Sound Tower speakers launched in India with 18-hour battery and beat-synced lighting

Samsung has launched its Sound Tower portable speaker series in India, bringing the ST50F and ST40F models with 18 hours of battery life and LED effects that pulse to music beats. The speakers deliver up to 240W output and are built for both backyard parties and living room gatherings.The top-end ST50F runs for 18 hours on a single charge and includes wheels with a telescopic handle for dragging it around. The ST40F offers 12 hours of playback with a simpler top handle. Both models pack IPX4 water resistance, making them usable around pools or during monsoon season without worrying about splashes.

LEDs analyze music in real-time, bass adjusts across three modes

Samsung's Party Lights+ system uses dozens of LEDs spread across five zones in the speake r that react to bass drops and tempo changes as songs play.

Users can pick from six lighting patterns like Wave or Spark through the Sound Tower app, which analyzes frequencies on the fly to keep effects synchronized. The track light circles the woofers like a racing stripe, while ring lights frame the tweeters up top.Audio comes from dual woofers paired with waveguide dome tweeters that spread sound wider than standard drivers. There are scene-specific modes including Outdoor and Stadium, plus three bass profiles—Deep for thumping lows, Punchy for tight response, or Gentle for background listening.

Multiple speakers can link through Auracast Group Play, or users can pair two units in stereo mode for proper left-right separation. DJ Booth and Karaoke modes are built in, along with a guitar input jack for plugging in instruments directly.The Sound Tower lineup starts at Rs 25,500, available now on Samsung.com and major retailers nationwide.
