School timings changed in view of cold wave conditions in Adilabad district

With severe cold wave conditions sweeping across Adilabad district, the district administration has rescheduled the timings of all primary, upper primary and high schools in the district.

All schools, including government, local bodies, KGBV, Telangana Model Schools, and private schools will function from 9.40 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. instead of 9 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. with immediate effect, said a press release.

Collector Rajarshi Shah has issued orders to this effect on Thursday.

It may be mentioned that the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a cold wave alert in Adilabad and eight other districts for Friday.

Meanwhile, Arli in Bheempur mandal recorded the lowest temperature of 7.7 degree Celsius in Adilabad district on Thursday.
