Shraddha Kapoor to wrap shooting for Laxman Utekar's 'Eetha' by March and commence 'Naagin' in April - Reports

Shraddha Kapoor is starting 2026 with work galore and no breaks at all. Moving fast from one film to another, right now, Kapoor is finishing up shooting for Laxman Utekar helmed film 'Eetha'. The actress has been shooting for many months.According to a Mid Day report, once 'Eetha' is wrapped up in March, Shraddha Kapoor will quickly move on to her next film. 'Naagin'. The shooting for 'Naagin' is slated to begin in April. This barely leaves any breather for the 'Stree' star between the two projects.

Finishing up 'Eetha' after a tough training schedule

'Eetha' is directed by Laxman Utekar. In this film, Shraddha plays the role of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, a famous Tamasha and Lavani performer.According to the earlier reports, to play this role, Shraddha Kapoor has had to go through rigorous physical training as the role is extremely demanding.

It needs strong dance movements and deep emotions. During the shoot, Kapoor also got injured while filming a dance sequence. This development had halted the shooting for some time. Even then, Kapoor remained focused. The team now plans to finish the film by the end of March and the makers are confident the schedule will be wrapped up in due time.

Switching gears with 'Naagin'

After 'Eetha', Shraddha Kapoor will enter into a very different world as 'Naagin' is a fantasy film.

The team wanted every detail to be perfect which includes the visual effects and the cast. Now that the casting of Shraddha Kapoor has been confirmed, everything else looks ready to move ahead. This film will showcase Kapoor in a shape shifting role.Recently, Shraddha was seen outside a hospital in Mumbai with her father, Shakti Kapoor. During this visit, she politely asked photographers not to take pictures or videos. It was a sensitive family moment, and she requested for privacy. On the work side, Shraddha was last seen in 'Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank' in 2024 opposite Rajkummar Rao.
